新しいものを嫌う理由には、慣れ親しんだものを手放す不安や、未知のものへの恐れが関係しています。たとえそれが価値あるものであっても、人々は直感的に「変化」に抵抗を感じることがあります。

ウェザリングやダメージ加工は、抑圧された感情や可能性を象徴していると考えられます。一方、流線形のシルエットやファスナーを基調にしたデザインは、心の内側から外へ広がる自由の表現。最終的には、無意識を見つめ、受け入れることで真の自由に近づけるのではと考えている。

People often resist new things due to fear of the unknown and discomfort with letting go of the familiar. Even valuable innovations can trigger instinctive resistance to change.

Weathering and distressed designs symbolize suppressed emotions and lost potential. In contrast, streamlined silhouettes and zipper-focused designs represent the flow of inner freedom expanding outward. True freedom, perhaps, comes from confronting and embracing the unconscious.
