「バラを敷き詰めた寝床」と「幸福な生活」という二つの意味を持つ熟語のBed of Roses にインスパイアされ、「物事に白黒をはっきりさせるなら本当の幸せが手に入るのか？」、「無理に分けようとすれば、決定的な決裂に至ってしまうのではないか？」と思った。白と黒の二色で二者択一的な思考と二元論的世界観を表現し、さらに少量の赤で「決裂」と「傷」を表現し、バラを敷き詰めたような生地で本コレクションをデザインした。

Inspired by the idiom of “Bed of Roses” which conveys two meanings. The two are “a bed full of roses” and “a happy life/ an easy life.” If we try to make things easy by only seeing things in black and white, will we achieve the true happiness? Life is not always black and white, and pushing ourselves or others too hard and too fast in such a direction may lead to hurt ourselves. With the usage of 2 colors as in the dualistic concept and of a little red symbolizing pain and hurt, this autumn/winter collection is created by applying 3D rosette chiffon with the image of a bed full of roses.
