CONCEPT

Separation of Tasks

"All problems are interpersonal problems." — Alfred Adler, What Life Should Mean to You.
This collection is inspired by Adlerian psychology as a conceptual reference. I developed the theme of "task separation," which shapes the collection's direction.
It explores how maintaining appropriate boundaries—by neither intervening in others' tasks nor allowing others to intrude upon one's own—can ease psychological strain and create a clearer mental space.

The white areas mark a defined inner space, while the coloured sections express emotional turbulence. Gradations of pink, orange, and pale yellow reflect engagement with one's own tasks, whereas light blue, deep blue, and soft violet suggest the calm distance kept from others' tasks. Layered frills reveal subtle emotional shifts, tracing the line between clarity and confusion. I hope this collection offers viewers a brief sense of relief from unnecessary stress and encourages them to recognize and protect their own psychological tasks.
